Thanks for the great suggestion. I looked at the recess you described. Sure enough it is oily. This plug you described is above the head bolt or a part of the head bolt assembly? It looks like it would be near impossible to get to the head bolt. Is it a major production to repair? If I take it to a dealer to repair, am I running the risk of having 3 or 4 oil leaks when I get it back?
